Meet the Presenters

Josh Perkins

As Director of Product Management, Josh is responsible for product strategy, design, and direction, working with customers, product specialists, and programmers to develop automated business workflow solutions that exceed customer expectations. Josh joined Avanti in 2004 as a member of the customer support team, later moving into the Product Management department as a Product Specialist, then ultimately into his current role. Josh is responsible for architecting many features in both Avanti Classic and Avanti Slingshot, including the JDF Framework and its certification. Josh holds a Bachelor of Technology degree from Toronto Metropolitan University in Toronto, Ontario, and certifications for JDF Expert and Pragmatic Marketing.

Jeffrey Murrel

Jeff has over 30 years of experience in the Production Printing Industry and has been with Ricoh since 2015. His education includes an Associate's degree in Printing Technology and a Bachelor's in Printing Management. Outside of Ricoh, Jeff has worked as a Software Training and Support Site Manager for an EFI subsidiary and as a Customer Service Representative / Production Planner for RR Donnelley.

At Ricoh, Jeff specializes in implementing Avanti Slingshot, an MIS Solution. He has headed implementations at several companies around the country, including Alliance Franchise Brands, Willis Towers Watson, Wharton School of Business, the Daniels Group, Swift Print Communications, Stanley Black & Decker, University of Oregon, Excellus Blue Cross Blue Shield, The State of Minnesota and Physicians Mutual Insurance Company.
