Meet the Presenters

Duncan Ellis

Duncan Ellis brings more than 12 years of experience working with Fortune 500 clients at Xerox Canada to lead Avanti’s daily operations and software implementation teams as General Manager. His focus on employee engagement, business development and operational excellence is key in driving client satisfaction and success. A man of letters, Mr. Ellis holds three degrees from the University of Toronto: Master of Education, Bachelor of Education, and Bachelor of Physical Education. Outside of work, Mr. Ellis enjoys travelling with his family, tending his vegetable garden, and financing two sons at university concurrently.

Jeffrey Murrel

Jeff has over 30 years of experience in the Production Printing Industry and has been with Ricoh since 2015. His education includes an Associate's degree in Printing Technology and a Bachelor's in Printing Management. Outside of Ricoh, Jeff has worked as a Software Training and Support Site Manager for an EFI subsidiary and as a Customer Service Representative / Production Planner for RR Donnelley.

At Ricoh, Jeff specializes in implementing Avanti Slingshot, an MIS Solution. He has headed implementations at several companies around the country, including Alliance Franchise Brands, Willis Towers Watson, Wharton School of Business, the Daniels Group, Swift Print Communications, Stanley Black & Decker, University of Oregon, Excellus Blue Cross Blue Shield, The State of Minnesota and Physicians Mutual Insurance Company.
